Companions
Recruit knights, spies, scholars, and oath-scarred exiles. Each companion carries a personal oath, a breaking point, and a view of what the crown should mean.
High-Fantasy RPG of Power, Loyalty, and Consequence
You are a traveler bound by oath and circumstance, drawn into a realm divided by the struggle for a fractured crown — where every allegiance has a price and every fire casts a shadow.
The Realm
Five kingdoms hold a fractured peace beneath the gaze of old gods and new ambitions. Rival houses marshal bloodlines, banners, and oathbound legacies while priests, rebels, and oathbreakers test the limits of faith.
Ancient pacts are failing. The high seat stands vacant and the regency is contested. In the courts, the temples, and the burned borderlands, power is negotiated in whispers, sealed in blood, and defended with sword and sorcery.
RPG mechanics reinforce the fiction: reputation, lineage, and divine favor shape dialogue, access, and consequence across every territory.
Fealty is more than loyalty. It is the oath that binds blade to lord, believer to god, and traveler to the road ahead. Keep it, and doors open. Break it, and the realm remembers.
Player Fantasy
Begin as an outsider and rise through cunning, devotion, defiance, or blood-sworn right. Choose which house to serve, which god to honor, and which vows are worth breaking.
Branching quests, contested loyalties, and reactive companions ensure no two paths to power burn the same way. Refactoring of early prototypes keeps systems readable: choice, consequence, and memory.
The gods are real, but their intentions are not clear. Some answer prayers. Some demand tribute. Some wear faces no mortal mind was meant to hold — crowned in coils, vast in shadow, burning in the dark between torches.
Bonds That Burn
Recruit knights, spies, scholars, and oath-scarred exiles. Each companion carries a personal oath, a breaking point, and a view of what the crown should mean.
Forge deep friendships, rivalries, and romances shaped by Fealty. Stand beside your allies in council and in battle — or turn them into the enemies your story deserves.
No bond survives the contest for the crown untouched. Competing oaths force hard choices: protect one companion and betray another, serve a house and forsake a god, or burn every bridge to claim power alone.
Currency of the Realm
Drakrom: Ancient seal-stamped coins used across the divided kingdoms. Struck with the sigil of the first mint, the Drakrom remains the economic backbone players will earn, spend, and hoard throughout the realm — from bribing gatewardens and funding armies to purchasing relics and divine favor.
The Oath Awaits
The crown is fractured and the regency is contested. The gods are watching. The houses are gathering their banners, and the road ahead is lit only by torchlight and emberlight. Where the people you meet can change your story, where every oath opens one door and closes another — who will you become?
